Ghana Teacher Prize Awards: Ras Wormz To Represent UER.

Asampana Michael, known in showbiz as Ras Wormz, has been selected as the Best Non-Teaching Staff of  the Ghana Education Service, Upper East Region 2020 to represent the region in this year’s Ghana Teacher Prize Awards in Accra. .

He represented the Bongo district together with other contestants from 14 districts of the region at the GES regional headquarters. Mr. Asampana emerged as the over all winner after beating his other 14 other contestants from the 15 districts and municipalities in the region in an interview selection process. The interview was held on the 7th of May, 2020.

Early this year, Ras Wormz was crowned the “Development Chief and Ambassador of the Less Privileged” after he fed thousands of orphans and supported them with free exercise books in January 2020.

He is expected to represent Upper East Region in this year’s Ghana Teacher Prize Awards in Accra.

Speaking in an inclusive interview with Word FM, a Zuarungu-based radio station, he disclosed that he had to put music on hold to focus on the awards and that fans should expect hits from him “after the ultimate”.
