Assistant U-20 coach uses his Holidays to scout for National teams.

The Ghana National Under 20 Assistant Coach, Salifu Fatawu is currently on holiday in Upper East Region and he is taken advantage to scout for the Black Satellite and other national teams. In stand of him spending time with his family the former Kpando Hearts of Lions coach is going around the country scouting players for National teams.


He is note for scouting for good players in the Northern sector particularly his region, Upper East. He has so far been to Zabila, Tamale, Bolga,Yedi, Gambaga and Nalerigu. In Bolgatanga, there is currently a tournament ongoing call “Ramadan Soccer Fiesta at the Mobile AstroTurf where he plays a key role in its organisation since its inception in 2008. He use this opportunity to scout some players there.


In a chart with him WhatsApp, he said, “I am using the Holidays not just to rest but going round the nation and scout for young hidden talents for the Ghanaian National teams. Am only taken advantage of my holidays at the North to do that”
