NPP and Mathew Amoah Shake Bolga East With a Mammoth Health Walk.

The New Patriotic Party in the Bolgatanga Constituency and the parliamentary hopeful of the party in the upcoming 2024 parliamentary elections, Mr. Mathew Amoah, have sent shivers to the camp of the NDC with a well attended unity health walk in the Constituency.

Mr. Mathew Amoah Silas who has openly declared his intention to contest the Bolgatanga East Constituency parliamentary seat in the 2024 elections, organised a health walk for members of the NPP to energise and unite them towards the main elections.

The health walk was massively attended with members of the party from far and nearby constituencies including the students wing of the party(TESCON) from some tertiary institutions joining the walk to offer support and reenergise the party in the constituency.

Key dignitaries of the party in the constituency and the region graced the occasion. The former 1st vice chairman, Dr. Moses, Regional Youth Organiser, Sala-Hudeen, Regional first Vice, Mr. Isaac Atesige, Regional Organiser, Charlse Ndaabon, Regional Secretary, Figo, Awonekai, all constituency executives and other high profile executives were in attendance.

Amidst drumming and live band music and music from heavily built sound system, the participants walked through some principal streets in the constituency before converging at their start point, the Zuarungu Agric Show park where various speeches were delivered by Mr. Mathew Amoah, constituency executives and Regional executives.

The Regional Youth Organiser, Mr. Sala-Hudeen Musah urged voters in the constituency to vote out the Member of Parliament for the Bolgatanga East Constituency, Hon. Dominic Akuritinga-yine for not bringing enough development to the constituency.

” Dr. Dominic Ayine has done nothing since he went to parliament. The library project that he started is still uncompleted but the Gh2.5 million party office that he built has been completed. Do you know what that money can do for this constituency? Do you know the number of boreholes that would have been constructed?”

Mr. Sala-Hudeen charged the youth to unite and commit to the party in other to win the Bolgatanga East Constituency seat.

” We have only one seat but with a united front, we can win more seats and the Bolga East seat is one of them, there is no doubt about that. I therefore urge the youth of the party in this constituency to continue to remain resolute and steadfast and I know with that commitment, God will reward us.”

Mr. Figo Awonekai asked the people to send a message to Dr.. Dominic Ayine and Dr. Abereinga that the 12 years reign of the NDC in the constituency is over because the time to change has come.

” If there is any of you who have Dr. Ayine or Dr. Abereinga’s number, take a picture or a video and send it to them and tell them that the 12 years reign of the NDC in the constituency has ended. I hear they are the only two who have picked forms to contest the primaries and if you observe, the two of them are Phd holders and that is not what this constituency needs. What we need is an active and a humble young man who you can easily approach. So you should let them know that if they spend their money during their primaries, they will be wasting it because they have already lost the seat.”

Mr. Amoah Moses explained that the reason for the unity health walk is to bring members of the party together to walk for health and to know each other. He urged members of the party in the constituency to forgive each other and be united to ensure the victory of the party in the upcoming elections.

” This programs is a unity health walk which is to call all of us out to walk for health and know ourselves. I want us to beg one another, to get united as Bolga East NPP because if we are not united we cannot get what we want. if your brother or friend has hurt you, let it go and let peace prevail. lets leave every differences and get united to build our party. Since 2012, what has drawn this party backward is disunity. This one says i belong to this camp, this one says i belong to this camp. But i want to ask, what have we gained from that since? So lets get united because if we are united, the name of NDC will die in this constituency.”
