The second edition of the Frafra Unity Inter-community Soccer tournament organize by some youth of the frafra speaking people of Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region to promote unity among the various communities in the Bolgatanga Central Constituency is set to kick-off on Saturday, 24th December, 2022 at the Mobile Astro turf. The tournament will run from 24th December 2022 to 8th January, 2023.
The tournament has attracted other communities which increased increased the number from 12 communities in the maiden edition to 16 communities. The communities have been put in to 4 groups, which is A-D with 4 communities in a group. Last year champions will commence the tournament when they take on Dagmweo.
The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Hon. Isaac Adongo and other prominent people in the constituency are expected to attend the opening ceremony. The organizers relies on support from the Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Hon. Isaac Adongo and other individuals, because the tournament has no sponsor.
