NDC Elections: Abraham Lambon Retained as UE/R Youth Organiser.

The National Democratic Congress have gathered at the library complex auditorium of the Bolgatanga Technical University in Sumbrungu to elect new executives to lead the party for the next four years and to lead the party to election 2024.

The party on Saturday morning, 12th October, 2022, elected two positions before the commencing the election of the other officers.

The Youth Organiser position was keenly contested for by three members of the NDC including the incumbent regional youthorganiser, Mr. AbrahamLambon. The others are Mr. David Amolga and Awuni Ben.

Mr. David Amolga gave Mr. Lambon a run for his money but lost out by pulling 24 votes as against 27 votes for the incumbent, Abraham Lambon to retain his position. Awuni Ben came third with four votes.

The incumbent deputy Regional Youth Organiser, Mr. Joseph Apuakasi retained his position with 21 votes. Mr. Samari Samson joined Joseph as the second deputy Regional Youth Organiser with 20 votes.

The election of the remaining officers is under way.
