Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, the Chief Executive Officer of Charger Ltd has been adjudged the Best Business Leader for the year 2022 at the Responsible Business and Leadership Awards Maiden edition organised in the Greater Accra region.
The Responsible Business and Leadership Awards (RBLEA) is an empowerment-driven initiative that seeks to distinguish and uphold the achievements of inspiring corporate front-runners of responsible values.
The Founder and President of Charger Limited, Producers of Happy Man Bitters, and Plus One drinks, Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, was honored with the Business Leader of the Year for his inspiring and zest leadership skills exhibited in the corporate space.
The young Entrepreneur is known to be a man of the youth as he is surrounded mainly by groups of vibrant young men and women he mentors and supports in various ways. So to win the Business Leader of the year was nothing short of deserving.
The night also witnessed Charger Limited winning The Responsible Manufacturing Company of the year (Beverages).
Charger Limited in 2021, under a subsidiary company called Happy Man Beverages, launched its carbonated soft drinks: Plus 1 Mango, Plus 1 Cola, Plus 1 Apple and Plus 1 Tamarin to meet the demands of those who prefere soft drinks.
Within the span of a year, the Plus one brand and products are making waves steadily in the country. It has become one of the most sort for soft drink in many shops and pubs across the country.
The Plus 1 brand is also partaking in social interventions and supporting many youth activities as its social responsibility, which is the crucial principle of Charger Limited.
