Founder of Mount Zion Holy City Church – prophetess Mrs. Ruth Natie has come to the aid of four communities in the Upper East Region by drilling boreholes for them. Three communities in the Bolgatanga Municipality benefitted from this gesture and They are: Dagweo, Pubaga and Soe Tindandone. Apowungo community in the Bongo district also benefitted from the project .
According to the prophetess, she had a divine direction to safe the said water-scares communities “ It all started when the Lord revealed to me to come to Bolga here , that people here needed borehole water to drink, in the dream, I saw people struggling, they were fetching dirty water, so the Lord told me I should come to Bolga , the lord showed me two communities around Rev Eastwood Anaba Church area (that is Pubaga and Dagweo) so there we did two boreholes and then we came to Apuwungo another community ,we did another one there.
The lord showed that in Isaiah 35 so we came there and another borehole and here in Soe Tindandone the Lord reveals to me that they need boreholes, they are struggling and this one was a difficult area because many people have been here trying to search for water, drill boreholes and they didn’t get, I saw a couple boreholes that is water is not flowing through when we were coming and the Assembly Man Hon Lambert Akunzeebe himself has testified that since Kwame Nkrumah’s era, people have been trying to get them water” .
At Soe Tindandone where the constructor – Nyaaba Alhassan of ‘Hassan and Sons Drilling Enterprise’ had difficulty locating a spot to get water, the prophetess who was far away in Accra directed them [the constructor] a spot beneath a rock where they dug and eventually had water. The Bolgatanga based contractor noted for mechanization, drilling and maintenance, is said to have employed all techniques in locating a site for water, but couldn’t until the miraculous intervention of the prophetess
Mrs. Ruth Natie told word news that the rock where the borehole was sited wasn’t an ordinary rock but Christ because Jesus Christ is the only one that can give water.
She has promised to continue and as such widen her gestures.
Mrs Felicia Adongo told word news that the borehole is a great relief to them and children because they have been struggling for safe water over the years. Beneficiaries communities expressed their joy and noted that the daily early struggle in search is over.
