The Africa Cup of Nations is the highest football tournament in Africa. Since its inception in 1957, only 14 Countries have registered their names in title holders history book. Egypt won the first ever AFCON Edition in Sudan in 1957 and the most successful country to have won it 7 times. Current title holders is Algeria.
