The Member of Parliament for the Nabdam Constituency of the Upper East Region, Hon. Mark Nawani, has donated learning materials to final year students of the Nabdam district as they prepare for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination.
The materials donated include 800 sets of mathematical sets and 800 exercise books to aid the students in preparation of the their final exams which commences on the 15th of November 2021.
Dr. Mark Nawani urged the students to take their studies serious as they enter the last stages of their preparation for the final exams. He also advised the students who were present at the donation to cooperate with their teachers to prepare them adequately for the exams.
The donation of learning materials to final yesar students of the Nabdam district has become an annual event where the member of parliament for the area donate learning materials to final year students who are about to take their final BECE exams.
Last year, a similar event was organised where learning materials comprising mathematical sets, exercise books and pens were donated to the district director of the Ghana education service of the Nabdam district for onward distribution to all students of the district to prepare them for their final exams.
The district director of education, Madam Mary-Madeline Wompakyeah, received the items on behalf of the students and subsequent distribution to the students.
