The facility will feature a football pitch made of artificial grass, floodlighting for evening matches, galvanized pipe fencing, spectator stands, and washrooms.

Speaking exclusively to Word News at the renowned Zuarungu Agricultural Field in the Bolgatanga district, the contractor, Mr. Christian Kolman of Wembley Sports Construction Limited, stated that he has been given a three-month grace period to complete the project. However, upon the request of Mr. Amoah, he aims to finish the project in less than three months.

We are currently undertaking an astroturf facility in Bolgatanga. The astroturf facility contains a football pitch, floodlights to facilitate football in the evening, fencing for the pitch, and also stands with washrooms. We are supposed to be taking three months to complete it, but because of the request of Hon. Silas Mathew Amoah, we are trying to expedite everything so we are looking at somewhere less than three months to complete the project. Sometimes we will be working morning and evening just to be able to complete it on time,” Kolman noted.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, Silas Mathew Amoah revealed that the project’s cost is approximately four hundred thousand Ghana cedis. He expressed his commitment to uplifting the youth in the constituency, recalling his first encounter with their annual soccer league in December 2012.
