Gabriel Agambila, very passionate son of the Upper East Region who returned from the diaspora with an intention of championing development of the Region, has strongly called on people of the region to solidly stand firm relative to devepmental projects.

The seasoned gospel musician who is known by his stage name, Prince Akakire opined that the region have been left far behind in terms of development hence the call on chiefs, pastors, priests and the regional chief imam to join him propagate for the needed developmental needs of the region.

The Upper East region has no Airport, though there is a proposed land for the project located in the regional capital, Bolgatanga.

Speaking on the Word Drive Express with Dj Remedy on Word FM,
the American based Ghanaian musician talked about the need for the region to own an Airport.

The philanthropic musician used his social media handles, while in the United States to champion his agenda towards getting the region an Airport.

He called on duty bearers to consider giving the region a passport office. He believe the region has been denied these two projects for far too long.

He called on politicians from the region to work together for the betterment of the region regardless of their party colors. “We need to speak in one tone”.

Gabriel Agambila and his friends have visited the proposed Airport site at Suburungo in Bolgatanga and cleared it of weeds.
