
Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga central has disclosed that Dzata foundation, a subsidiary of Dzata cement will fully fund the establishment of the Dialysis center at the Upper East Regional hospital, Bolgatanga .
The MP made this disclosure when he was addressing party supporters after a health walk organized by the Bolgatanga Central constituency members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), at Bolgatanga.
“Upon hearing efforts to put up a dialysis center at the region hospital, i sent an application to Dzata cement with a team from the regional hospital, to get Dzata foundation to fully fund the dialysis center at the regional hospital”
According to Adongo, it is his hope that they will get that facility fully funded by Dzata foundation to help improve health delivery especially those who are in need of the dialysis services urgently.
He, however, added that women in the remote areas in his constituency are having challenges when it come to child birth in the rural communities, for which he has constructed three maternity centers in the remote areas in the constituency to improve those facilities.
The kalibeo community benefited, one at Youkoko and the other at Tindomoligo. He disclosed that efforts are underway with some Ghanaian donors in Germany to supply the needed equipments to equip all the there facilities identified in the remote areas to help improve health delivery in the areas.
“Very soon, we will have the opportunity to make those facilities functional when the equipment are donated”
