Agyapong Ohene Agyapong, a presidential hopeful has intimated that he would have lashed greedy and Wicked politicians of Northern extraction should he had devine powers. The Assin Central law maker noted that Northen politicians have failed the electorates and that lashing them should have been an appropriate punishment.
He stated that politicians from the North have failed to utilise the vast land and other natural resources to empower the people because of greed and wickedness. This, he noted have pushed young men and women migrating to other parts of the country in search of nonexistent jobs.
“If I were God and have the power, I will put all the Northern politicians on the table. NDC, NPP and lashed all of them. Honestly, I don’t even understand why we should wake up early in the morning to go and vote. There is no reason to wake up to go and vote for somebody to come and lead in this constituency with all these lands here. what God has given us if you don’t know we can use maize to make ethanol, we can used maize for flower, we can use maize for cooking oil, we can use maize for poultry feed , we can use millet for flower, from Kwame Nkrumah time, we had the Bolgatanga meat factory, today where is it?”.
He claimed that politicians in his party who now describe him as a ” not-presidential” material always come pleading with him to finance the party during its opposition days.
He pleaded with delegates to vote for him come November 4, 2023, as his government will prioritise factory buildings and jobs creation.
