The media liaison officer of the Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia campaign, Mr. Akbar Khomeini, ha cautioned delegates of the New Patriotic Party not to make a mistake by voting for someone else but Dr. Bawumia because he is the most experienced candidate among the ten aspirants vying to lead the party into the 2024 elections.
Mr. Akbar Khomeini argued that Dr. Bawumia apart from being the most experienced candidate, he also “Ticks Every Single Box of Presidential qualifications” and will be the sole bet of the NPP to win the 2024 General elections.
” In any case the man we are proposing, meets both the National constitutional requirements and the NPP’s constitutional requirements and he has the capacity to deliver Victory for the NPP.”
Citing the increased parliamentary seats that the NPP won in te 2020 parliamentary elections, Mr. Akbar said the party won as much as seventeen seats from Northern Ghana which originally belonged to the NDC because of the work and influence of Dr. Bawumia.
” Indeed ,the NPPs performance in Northern Ghana is attributable to the efforst by Dr. Bawumia. The NPP won twenty five of the seats that the NDC were occupying prior to the 2020 elections and seventeen out of this twenty five seats came from the North. That is massive.”
” So there are those who make the argument that he has had a measurable outcome since 2012 that if made Presidential candidate, he will bring in more votes and more support to bolster the NPP agenda to break the eight.”
Mr. Akbar in a phone interview with Mr. Simon Agana, on the Community Watch Show on Word FM in Zuarungu, Mr. Akbar urged party delegates to make Dr. Bawumia the Presidential candidate if the party wants to break the eight.
“So we believe that if we want to win the 2024 elections, please, we should make Dr. Bawumia the Presidential candidate. Indeed he is the party’s most experienced candidate since history having been engaged directly in five Presidential campaigns. No other candidate in the race has these experience.”
