Bolga East: Mathew Amoah Commissions Two Boreholes For Gambibgo and Delugu Communities, Promises to do More.

A New Patriotic Party parliamentary aspirant hopeful and a philanthropist, Mr. Amoah Silas Mathew, has commissioned and handed over two hand pump boreholes to the Gambibgo basic school and the Dulugu community with a promise to do more when elected as the 2024 parliamentary candidate of the party.

The two boreholes have being dug in response to request by the Assemblyman for the area, Mr. Bukari, for the politician to help the school with a water facility to solve the water challenges that was being experienced by the school which sometimes forced students to travel long distances to drink water. The Dulugu borehole is to solve the water challenges faced by members of the community.

Mr.Mathew explained that the gesture was part of his efforts to contribute his quota to the development of the area.

” I am not doing this as a stranger,I an indigen of this community. I’m from Daborin so I have brought this water project home. There are people who have more financial muzzles than me but it is not about who has more but who has concern for the people.”

Mr. Amoah also promised to construct a four unit classroom block and three unit classroom block for the Gambibgo basic school and the Dulugu Community respectively if he is elected as the parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party for the Bolgatanga East Constituency even before the 2024 election.

” If the New Patriotic Party elect me as their parliamentary candidate, I will construct a four unit classroom block here and call you to come out and I will hand it over to you even before the main elections.”

“Here in Bolga East, we will do evidence based politics. By the time we go for election and if my party elect me as their candidate, I will construct ten projects in this constituency. Here in Dulugu, I will construct a three unit classroom block for the school. You see this health post, I will construct a maternity block for our mothers and sisters to have a nice place for delivery. “

Mr. Amoah appealed to the constituents to give the NPP in the constituency a chance by giving him a chance to also lead for them to compare the performances of the NPP and the NDC.

The Assemblyman for Gambibigo, Mr. Bukari expressed appreciation for the gesture. He said though two boreholes were dug at the school, none of them had enough water but the new borehole will prevent students from walking long distances to access water and also check students truancy.

The Youth of the two communities appealed to Mr. Amoah to help extend electricity to parts of the community that have not been connected to the national grid.
