UE/R Charger Limited CEO Celebrates Birthday with Orphans and Widows


 
Dr Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, Founder and President of Charger Limited, producers of Happy Man Bitters and Products, celebrated his birthday in the Upper East region capital, Bolgatanga as he threw a memorial feast to orphans and widows.
 
The June, 23 celebration saw the philanthropist spending an amount of 54000 cedis putting smiles on vulnerable and underprivileged.

some orphans with special needs widows and orphans were cared for.
 
A donations worth ¢33,000 was made to the Gods Love residential Home, an orphanage in Bolgatanga with about 25 children, most of whom were born by mothers with metal health challenges were given assorted items comprising of bags of rice, soap, washing detergent, as well as used clothes.

Out of the 25 kids, 15 of the them have been integrated into their families, but are still under the care of Orphanage.
 
He pledged an amount of ¢1000.00 monthly to support the orphanage for the next 12 months.
 
The sharing of goodies did not just end there, the astute businessman extended his Philanthropic hands to widows as part of the International Widows Day which coincided with his birth anniversary.
 
At the Catholic Social Center in Bolgatanga, some 30 widows under the auspices of the Widows and Orphans went home with bags of rice, bottles of cooking oil, crates of Plus one beverage and other assorted items and cash of 200 cedis each.
 
Similarly, Dr Borketey’s kind hands spread to Timataaba 24 Children’s home in Gbeogo in the Talensi District.
 
Here, big smiles took over the faces of these vulnerable children as they received their share of the goodies from the Charger Limited boss.
 
This kind gesture marked the birth of the Happy Man bitters Foundation with a core mandate to put smiles on the faces of the less fortunate, under privileged and vulnerable in society.
 
Dr Emmanuel Bortey Borketey used the opportunity to encourage other well-to-do people to show compassion to the less privileged in society.
 
“Giving to others should not only be done when we have in abundance but even when we have barely enough.”
 
He assured the beneficiary groups of a continues benevolence and support to them in the future.
 
At the climax of the event at Doxa Court, media personal and events managers took their turn to interact and share their thoughts with Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey as to how best he can support the growth of the Upper East regions as well how to promote the Charger Limited brand.
