The Member of parliament for Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Hon. Isaac Adongo pledged to support this year’s the the Bolgatanga Ramadan Soccer Fiesta with an amount of GhC 9,000.00. The MP has been supporting this event yearly, when the organisers knock on his doors for support.
He disclosed his pledge to the public during the opening ceremony of the 12th Edition of the Ramadan Soccer Fiesta in his constituency, Bolgatanga Central of the Upper East Region.
He acknowledged the absence of the Late Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Partriotic Party Mr. Adams Mahama who played very significant roles as far as these game are concern.
He encouraged all participants to believe in fairness, unity and to be self motivated as far as these games are concern.
He added that the significant of gala is felt that is why the number of communities increased from time to time and now from 16 last season to 24. For this he said is a sign of unity, Peaceful co-existance, Togetherness and above all Love within the Bolgatanga central constituency and it’s neighborhood.
Every participating community will get a football each(24 communities)
Every participating will get gh¢250.00 each as appearance fee
Communities that qualifies to the Semi-finals will get gh¢500.00 each and the winner will go home with gh¢1,000.00.
