UE/R: lintel Aid gifts needy pupils.

A Ghanaian registered Non-Government Organization going by the name ‘Lintel Aid Lintel Ghana’ has supported over 450 brilliants but needy with 2000 customized exercise books, 250 pens and 150 pencils to 26 basic schools in the Bolgatanga East District of the Upper East Region.
The philanthropic organization disclosed to www.mywordfmonline.com that getting the marginalized educated is its topmost priority. “Lintel Aid Ghana is focused on improving the lives of the underprivilege individuals and communities so at Lintel we say an impactful world through partnership and collaboration so basically, we do three things, we do educational support, we do support for the needy and the less privileged and we do women empowerment, but we are in line with our educational support, area of focus so it’s the annual Bolga East project and as the name goes it is a tour to encourage the underprivileged in school, so we are here to support the needy but brilliant students with educational materials to aid their studies as well as encourage them”. Miss Linda Teye, Chief Executive Officer of Lintel Aid Ghana noted.
Parents of the brilliant but needy pupils’ beneficiaries also took home clothes. The gift, this outlet is told was sponsored by one Dr. Emmanuel Abeere-inga. He is said to have assisted the group in previous ventures. 11 communities within the district including; Kombosigo, Dachio, Yarigabisi, Dulugu, pologo, Dubila, Gambibgo benefited from the clothes.

George Asira on behalf of the beneficiary district thanked Lintel Aid Ghana for the gesture. “We are so delighted to have Lintel Aid Ghana coming to aid of the District and targeting the young children in school who are in deprived areas in terms of need and so their intervention is good ,government alone can’t satisfy the demands and the need of every school children, therefore, there is a gap, who fills in that gap? organization like Lintel Aid Ghana comes in to fill that gap and we so grateful that they have come with this material for our children, education that is given to a child , the child will only see the sky as even beginning not the limits , this is enough to propelled somebody beyond our expectation”.


Mr. Asira called on Lintel Aid Ghana, to support the District in the fight against teenage pregnancy as well early and forced marriage in the District and the region at large.
