Below is the Statement by the Chief Executive Officer of the Club

ADDRESS BY THE CEO TO THE PRESTIGIOUS ZORKOR UNITED FAMILY.

On behalf of the management of the Prestigious Zorkor United Sporting Club, I send you warm greetings from my heart.  I sincerely thank you the players, coaches, supporters, the community members and the media for your constant support throughout the season. We did our best as a club  but our best was not enough to secure us qualification to Division Two. I  admonish you to remain focused for all is not lost. There is greater hope for the future.

We started this journey in 2017 and have since been a formidable force in the industry. Our brand remains one of the greatest in the region. We have a strong goodwill and cannot therefore afford to diminish. All we need is to remain focused and relevant irrespective of the Division we find ourselves.

We had a genuine protest filed but eventually withdrew it due to some considerations. The revelations were quite interesting and thoughtful. Though painful, we accepted to swallow the pills as consideration for our loyalty in good faith. ” We heard, we witnessed and have eventually experienced it”. Glory be to God, we have the strength and courage to endure happenings and still carry on. I am further enthused by the fact that we kept the faith and truly left positive trail of imprints in the hearts of genuine observers.

Some of you lost hope upon hearing that we have withdrawn the protest. I want to be an inspiration to you today. I want you to know that there is always time for everything. Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strengths. *NEVER GIVE UP*. *NEVER GIVE UP.*

Remember, trees lose their leaves during the dry season and still stand tall and wait for the rains to come. Our good moments will surely come. Also be empowered by the fact that life is like boxing. You are never declared losser when you fall down rather when you fail to rise up on time. Believe that we can start all over again;  pursue, overtake and recover our possessions with faith.

I hereby reiterate management commitments towards making the Prestigious Zorkor United  Sporting Club a formidable force in Upper East Football. I assure you, we shall prevail and remain relevant irrespective of our Division, to the glory of God.  The crusade for 2021/ 2022 season therefore starts now.

Stay Blessed and keep smiling, inspiring, caring, helping and showing love to others. We are proud of you. Congratulations.

To God Be The Glory.

Zorkor United   –  No Shaking

Zorkor United   – Talent We Develop

Signed

Hon. George A-engbinge Afari
