Castro Senyalah, an outstanding journalist from the Upper East Region of Ghana, has been awarded Best Court and Crime Journalist at the just ended 28th Ghana Journalists Association Awards.
With a remarkable career that began in radio broadcasting at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation in Bolgatanga, Castro later became a reporter for Atinka Media. After working with GhanaWeb, his extensive experience in writing and live reporting for both radio and television led him to become a reporter for Asaase Radio. Most recently, he was appointed the official Correspondent for Media General TV3.
Hailing from Navrongo in the Kasena Nankana Municipality, Castro Senyalah is recognized as one of the best writers and Journalists in the industry, excelling in both radio and television and online journalism.
In response to his award, Castro expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the importance of integrity and dedication in journalism. He hopes to inspire other aspiring journalists in the region to pursue excellence and remain committed to truth-telling in their work.
