Macleanview Restaurant Wins Best Traditional Caterer for Three Consecutive Years

Macleanview Restaurant has been awarded the title of Best Traditional Caterer for three consecutive years at the recent Ghana Tourism Awards. Located in the Bolgatanga municipality of the Upper East Region, Macleanview is renowned for its expertise in preparing indigenous dishes while maintaining high hygiene standards.

In an exclusive interview with Word News, Mrs. Joyce Abayom, the restaurant’s owner, attributed their success to the dedicated efforts of her staff. “We have been able to win the best traditional caterer since 2018, 2019, and 2024 due to my hardworking staff who are very sensitive to what our clients want to eat at what time. They also ensure that the restaurant abides by all the health safety protocols from the Food and Drugs Authority, the Ghana Standards Authority, and the Sanitation Inspectorate team of the Upper East Region.”

Mrs. Abayom emphasized that the restaurant’s commitment to client satisfaction is paramount: “We have been able to maintain this award for the third time because my staff are very sensitive to the needs of our clients and how we take our time to prepare our food under the hygiene protocols. We also don’t take our clients for granted because when our clients are satisfied, we are equally satisfied.”

Macleanview Restaurant has become a household name in the Upper East Region, known for delivering delicious and tasteful dishes for weddings, birthday parties, naming ceremonies, funerals, and other significant events.

Mrs. Abayom expressed confidence in their continued success, noting that regulatory bodies like the Food and Drugs Authority, the Ghana Standards Authority, the Ghana Tourism Authority, and the Sanitation Inspectors can attest to the restaurant’s commitment to hygiene. “I was not surprised that we maintained the best traditional caterer of the year 2024 because many of the regulatory bodies can testify that our food has always been prepared under hygienic conditions.”
