New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate contender, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has promised to fully tackle unemployment when given the nod to rule this country by putting up factories across the country.
The Assin Central law maker stated that putting up a shea butter factories in the five regions of the North will be his top priority. This he noted will reduce unemployment and as such prevent young men and women from migrating from the North to other parts of the country in search for non-existent jobs.
He bemoaned what he described as non tapping of the natural resources in the Northern enclave by politicians of Northern extraction.
” whether you vote for me or not, I am going to put up shea fruit juice factory in the North to shame the Northern politicians. My son buys shea butter in Ghana at 27 cedis and sells it at 34 dollars in America”.
The “Showdown” politician disclosed to delegates in the Upper East that over 1000 of his 7158 workers are Northerners and that employment needs a collective effort.
He appealed to delegates of his party to vote for him in the upcoming presidential primaries so as to rescue the country from unemployment.
