Be humble and respect your coaches – Selina Bane Kurug.

A former defender of Ghana U-17 female National team, the Black Maiden, Selina Bane Kurug call on players especially female players in the Upper East Region to be humble and respect their coaches in other to succeed in their career.


The former defender during the weekends (Saturday, 23th July, 2022) organized a friendly match between her mother club Sharp Arrows and Bolga All Stars ladies at the Mobile Astro turf where she played for Sharp Arrows and the match ended 2-0 in favour of All stars ladies.


In an interview after the match, the former defender thanked the two teams for honouring the match and edge the players to humble and respect their handles.


“As a player, if you want your football career succeed, you have to be humble and respectful to your coaches”


She added that All Stars ladies have a good team, they will go far if they humble and respect their coaches. According to her, she still has the skills and experience but lacks stamina.


She has not played active football for close to two years now. Selina was part of Black Maiden team that played the 2018 U-17world cup un Uruguay and were knock out in the quart

er finals. She is played for prison ladies football club before joining the service.
