The Chief Executive Officer of Petasgo enterprise, importer and distributor of agro chemicals, fertilizer, farm inputs and transport Company Based in the Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region, Mr. Peter Adongo says, he is thinking of putting up a multi-purpose stadium in the region for rentals.


“I am thinking of putting up a multi-purpoinse stadium in the region to be renting. You see the reason why football in this region dose not go far, is we because we don’t have a stadium. If a team qualifies to play premier, they have to play their home away and it is difficult. I have been in football for long it was my life, i gathered players in the region, rented a house and my wife was cooking three square meals for them. But when i had my problem all the players and the technical team runned and left me”.


He made this statement in an interview on a local base radio station, dreamz fm in Bolgatanga on a program State of our Nation, hosted be Albert Azongo on Wednesday, 20th July, 2022.


Mr. Peter in the 2000s entered in to football when his business was doing well, and became a football administrator sponsoring No weapon FC which eventually qualified to division one league. It was through that he was a close friend to Kwesi Nyantakyie, the former Ghana Football Association’s president.


He said, he had the opportunity to go to London and watch Black Stars friendly match but he was arrested at the GFA office, where his London ends, So his football administration ended.
