UE/R: I have no contender in the Regional Organizer race – Charles Ndanbon

Mr Charles Taleog Ndanbon, a Regional Organiser hopeful in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Regional Executives election, says no other aspirant for the position of Organizer has the qualities and skills to mobilise and galvanise votes for the Party in the Region apart from him.

“I don’t have any contender because I have confidence that the delegates will endorse me. I have marketed myself, the grounds are so fertile for me,” he said.

According to the Aspirant who contested the same position in 2018 and lost by seven votes, he was the people’s choice, and that in movements such as Regional Executive elections, the NPP needed his calibre in the Region to properly organise the Party for victory 2024.

“An act of service to men is service to God, and I have always strived to serve my fellow men at the least opportunity,” Mr Taleog told WORDNEWS in an interview.

He indicated that it was his vision to organize the grassroots and mobilize resources to break the eight year rule of Political Parties in Ghana, and also recapture the Party’s lost seats in the 2020 Parliamentary election.

Mr Ndanbon, who is the longest serving Assembly Member for the Zoliba-Tindong electoral area in the Nabdam District, said he had carefully carved out five key strategies to recapture more seatS for the NPP in 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

As part of his strategies, the Aspirant noted that the grassroots played very critical roles in the Party, and said leadership of the Party at the Regional and National levels under his watch, would ensure that the gap between the grassroots and the leadership would be bridged.

He observed that concerns of the youth in the Party appeared not to be addressed, and some of them felt disgruntled and reluctant to engage in Party activities, noting that such attitudes if not addressed, could affect the fortunes of the Party in the general elections.

Mr Ndanbon said given the nod as Regional Organiser, he would liaise with National leadership to ensure that job opportunities and scholarships which were the main concerns of the youth trickled down to the grassroots across various levels of the Party in the Region.

He said the NPP needed a unifier and a grassroots person for the Regional Organiser position to propel the Party to victory, and appealed to Party delegates to vote massively for him to turn around the fortunes of the Party at the grassroots level.
