” Every Community or nation has a set of values and norms that govern the behaviour of its people . These are principles that existed in Africa long before any colonizers arrived. Our principles of democracy, rule of law, and justice for all, originates from our respective cultural believes. These principles stem from traditional African beliefs such as the respect for our elders and the respect for our leaders. Any digression from these core African values will place our country in Jeopardy.”

” Our bigger challenge as a people is poverty and the situation is further worsened by large scale indiscipline, in all sections of our society. In this crusade parents, teachers, and all stakeholders have vital roles to play in spreading the message of honesty, tolerance, peace, and harmony. Our teachers, elders, must not only be preaching these virtues but must be seen to practice them and be role models for communities and our children to emulate.”
