A Kumasi based recording Artist, Mark Mbota has expressed optimism that artists of northern extraction will soon sore nationally. known in the showbiz circle as Yinedenaba, he advised young artists from the north to identify their weakness and as such polish same.
Mbota rose to fame after his ‘kibsi’ hit song which enjoyed a massive air play.
Yinedenaba told Word entertainment news
That ”there is the need for northern artist to move out of their comfort zoon and work with other music producers and colleague artists in the southern part of the country”.
He furthered noted that artists in the north are very good lyrically as well as in performance.
He pointed to famous artists of northern extraction who gained a Nationwide fame.
“I think we have had nationwide hits from the likes of Okomfour kwadee and king Ayinsoba just to mention a few, Is just a matter of time things will be good very soon looking at the way our brothers are working in the north, we will get there. I am certain about that”.
Meanwhile, his new song titled “Bumbura” is said to be doing well in the north.
The Zuarungu- borned comic rap stylist added that music is an art hence the reason he adds comic in his songs
