NDC primaries; Dr. Abeere-inga to contest Ayine

A 56 year-old civil engineer has declared his intentions to contest the upcoming National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary primaries in the Bolgatanga East constituency of the Upper East Region.

Dr. Emmanuel Abeere-inga, a native of Gambigo is said to be politically lacing his boot to defeat incumbent Dominic Ayine when the umbrella party opens nominations.

The Project management specialists,  lecturer and  development expert says he stand tall in the contest.

He disclosed that he over the years through the Northern Development Authority initiated several developmental projects.

The onetime lecturer at the Manchester university believes his experience over the years makes him a suitable candidate to provide the developmental needs of the constituency.

He added that the current Member of  Parliament for Bolgatanga   East constituency Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine told people of Bolgatanga East in his   last parliamentary primaries that he is not the mugabe of the constituency and only needed to make his third term in office.

Dr Emmanuel Abeere-inga made his intentions know to word news after he paid a courtesy call on the paramount chief of Zuarungu   Naba Bilia Maletinga III and other sub chiefs in the Zuarungu Traditional area.

Mr Roger Adekurah an elder  at the palace adviced the two contestants to do their campaign devoid of insults and as such consider themselves as  brothers.

According to Dr. Emmanuel, he has natured his ambition to amass development for his people for some years ago. He stated that most of the youth have been calling on him to contest.

“Over the years, I have been preparing myself both intellectually expertise, resource fund raising expertise and I have been engaging   the youth, providing a lot of opportunities, educational support , job opportunities and over the years the kids and the boys has been asking me that  it is good to offer myself to the service, I see the advantage in offering myself to the service, because I have worked with non-governmental organization for a long and I know their mood of operations and I know how analysed   development for my people, I offer myself knowing the challenges of my people ”  he noted  

.Ing Dr. Emmanuel Abeere-Inga  who is also the current  Director of Infrastructure, land and environment and natural resources at the headquarters of the Northern Development Authority (NDA), told Word News that the member of parliament for Bolgatanga East told him four years ago that he want to go to parliament for three consecutive times and that he should hold on till his three consecutive tenure is over and that he (Dr. Emmanuel) would be a rightful replacement of him.(Dr. Ayine). He believes this is the right time for him to served his people.
