Dr. Dominic Ayine

President Nana Akuffo Addo will today, 30th March, 2021, will deliver the state of the nation address in fulfilment of the constitutional requirement Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution. The State of the Nation Address was postponed because the President was unable to deliver it on March 3.

This will be held in the chamber of parliament at the instance of all members of parliament and other dignitaries at 10am.

The Member of Parliament of the Bolga East Constituency and former deputy Attorney General , Dr. Dominic Ayine , has however indicated that he has no great expectation because government has emptied the covers, gagged the public from speaking their mind and slowed development in the Bolga East Constituency and other Constituencies.

“I don’t have any great expectation of the president today. He and his finance minister has ran the economy at ground. They have set back all the progress we made as a country. when we come to infrastructure, they are way way behind from where we left in 2016 and you can see that in Bolga East. the Zuarungu township roads have not been funded since we left offfice.”

“The community library is still standing there, GNPC has no money. Every time, they release something small , the contractor will come and do something small.”

“Common Fund is not coming in good time and if you go to my accounts at the assembly, what is there cannot even pay school fees.”

“You realise that i am being disciplined for my individual view about the independence of our judiciary which has never happened”

Dr. Dominic disclosed that he will prefer staying in his office to work than go to the chambers of parliament to listen to the president.

“So you see that we have gone back decades in terms of our governance of the country and to be frank with you, i will prefer to stay in my office to work than go to the chambers of parliament to listen to him”

President Akufo-Addo will use the opportunity to highlight the achievements of his government, the challenges faced, and outline developmental measures for the next financial year.
