Look At My Works And Give Change a Chance, Vote For me to do More. Bolga East DEC.

The District Chief Executive of Bolga East District Assembly, Hon. Rev. Emmanuel Abugre Abole on 7th October,2020, filed his nomination forms at the Bolga East office of the Election Commission to contest as member of parliament for the Bolga East Constituency.

Hon. Emmanuel Abole was appointed the first DCE of the Bolga East District Assembly when the district was create in 2018 after the victory of the NPP in the 2016 general elections.

Hon. Abole will be making the 4th attempt at representing the  Bolga East Constituency after he failed on two occasions in the NPP primaries in the 2008 and 2012 parliamentary primaries.

He was however successful in the NPP primaries in 2016 but lost the main elections to the Current member of parliament, Hon. Dr. Dominic Akuretinga Ayine who has represented the constituency since it’s creation 2012.

After successfully filling his nomination forms at the Bolga East office of the Electoral Commission, Hon. Abole said he previously lost the elections because the people didn’t know him enough but with what he has done as a DCE for the last two years, he is confident the people will vote him come December 7th,2020.

” I’m happy today because I think I have done enough for the people of the Bolga East District and I’m hopeful that the people will give me the chance to represent them as MP to do even better.”

I lost on 2 times in the parliamentary primaries of my party and only became successful in 2016 and 2020. In 2016, I contested with Hon. Dominic Ayine but lost to him.

“He has worked and people have seen what he has done. I didn’t stay here with my people until I was appointed as a DCE, the people in 2016 told me they didn’t know me and so voted for Hon. Ayine.”

“With what I done in the district as a DCE, it is only proper that the people also give me a chance to go to parliament for me to work for them and then they can compare the records.”

Hon. Abole said if the people of the constituency will compare the work he has done to the work of the MP, they will agree that he has done better.

” I have worked for two years. The people should look at my works and give change a chance and see what I can do. If I look at what work I have done in this constituency, the MP himself will agree that I have done better than him.”

It will be the second time that Hon. Emmanuel  Abole will go into the polls with the former deputy attorney general and the incumbent member of parliament, Hon.Dr. Dominic Akuretinga Ayine.
