The CEO of Tap Hotel, Mr. Peter Baba Aluze-ele, has officially filed to contest the 2025 Council of State elections, which is scheduled for February 11, 2025.
Speaking exclusively to Word News, Mr. Peter Baba Aluze-ele, an entrepreneur and the Frafra chief based in the Asante Region, noted that he hails from the Upper East Region and has always prioritized the welfare of the people, the development of the youth, and the betterment of communities. He has worked in this environment for a long time and has demonstrated his care for the people through various projects, especially in Bolgatanga. He expressed his desire to assist His Excellency John Dramani Mahama in making a positive impact when he is given the opportunity to represent the Upper East Region as a Council of State elder.
Mr. Peter Baba Aluze-ele emphasized his commitment to supporting community leaders, chiefs, and key stakeholders to advance the welfare and development of the region. He believes that increased involvement will enhance his ability to improve the lives of the people in the Upper East Region. He stated, “It is in good faith that one person’s development is not the same as many people’s development.” He looks forward to collaborating with the president that John Dramani Mahama appoints to represent the region to drive development.
Mr. Peter Baba Aluze-ele is contesting the Council of State elections alongside eight other candidates: the paramount chief of Chiana, PE Ditundini Adiali Ayagitam III, who also serves as the president of the Upper East Regional House of Chiefs; Mr. Thomas More, a nurse and CEO of Ayamfooya Memorial Clinic; Mr. Elias Ayinbila Apasiya, a lecturer and librarian; Mr. Arabogo Ben Azumah, a social worker; Mr. Justice Aduko, an environmental and climate change consultant; the paramount chief of Navrongo, Navro Pio, Balinia Adda Dennis II, a farmer; Mr. Bismark Adongo, a development worker; and Mr. Desmond Ayambire Abire, a project officer.
As the campaigns heat up, approximately 30 electorate members are expected to cast their votes to decide the next Council of State elder to represent the people of the Upper East Region.
