One of Ghana’s giant fertilizer distributors, Yara Ghana, has honoured four top key Northen based retailers through it digital value chain software which the company has introduced to loyal retailers and farmers in 2022.
General manager of Yara Ghana, Ms. Theresa Randolph indicated that the company introduced ‘Yara connect’ an app to track all records of sales of their loyal retailers in the county.
She noted that most of the loyal retailers who usually use the app to scan their products before sale got were rewarded. Items such as television sets, mobile phones, t- shirts and many others were given to the award winners.
“After the launch in November, 2022 of the Yara Connect Loyalty Programme, 2023 saw the all year implementation and we have seen commendable growth over the past year with 554 Yara input dealers registered on the app so far.
several rewards in the form of Yara branded polos, raincoats, smart phones, and others have been given out and today we are here to reward the top four retailers with most loyalty points 2023 in the northern sector”.
The rewards, though organized in the Northern region, it saw the Upper East Region and Upper West Region sweeping all the awards with Hadara enterprise in Wa walking home with brand new motor tricycle, with other three top loyals from the Upper East Region also walking home with brand new motor tricycles and a motor bike for Saka enterprise of Bawku and H. Bolnaba enterprise respectively as well as Abowine enterprise.
Ms. Theresa Randolph congratulated all to the top four winners and encouraged other retailers to commit fully to using the Yara Connect app in all their transactions. This she noted will brighten their chances of also recieving awards next year.
Alhaji Yussif Mohammed thanked Yara Ghana for the honour and noted that the motor tricycle will support him to increase his sales as it will enable him connect closer to his rural farmers who finds it difficult transporting the fertilizer.
