A self-acclaimed trigger-happy National Security Operative, Issaka Zibrim known popularly as Sarki and some others were arrested yesterday in the Greater Accra Region after they opened a gun attack on traders.
The shooting incident is said to have occurred at Avenu, near Circle in the Greater Accra Region.
Sarki and his gang in an unprovoked manner attacked the traders who were going about their normal trading activities in the busy hub. Four persons, this portal learn are currently nursing gunshots wounds following the attack. An AK 47 assault raffle and an M16 were retrieved by police at the scene.
It is alleged that the attack was carried in a retaliation of an alleged gun attack that occurred in Bawku.
Sarki has for sometime now been parading himself in Bawku as a National Security Operative.
Efforts to speak to greater Accra regional police command over the incident by Word news has proven futile .
