The New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary candidate for the Bolgatanga East Constituency in the Upper East has called on the youth in the constituency to change their pattern of voting in the upcoming general elections.
Interacting with the youth of Dachio Kulbuligo, Silas Amoah bemoaned what he described as politicians abandoning the youth after winning elections. He called for the championing of vocation as a tool to breaking the chain of unemployment. He called for a proper look into youth empowerment. He promised to enrol the youth into into skills training like fitting, barbering, weaving, carpentering, Masonry , welding , Steel-burning which will sustain and make the life of the youth better in the constituency.
He advised the youth to avoid politicians who comes to display money, especially during elections.
He tasked the youth to rally behind him because he have a lot of job opportunities for youth.
The District chief executive for Bolgatanga East, David Amoah disclosed that plans are far advanced towards getting a contractor to work on the bridge that connects the area and that of Powungo community in the Bongo district as well as the bridge that connects the area and Nboka-en the separates the people of Dachio from the Yipaala community in the Bolgatanga municipality.
According to Mr David Amoah the national feeder roads director with some team of engineers came to the district some few days ago and survey the two rivers.
He promised to get all areas connected to the national grid.
He called on the youth to vote massively for the NPP in the coming elections.
The youth of the area led by Atambire Akuntubego thanked the parliamentary candidate for coming to the aid of a young man who suffered a road traffic accident. They also appealed to the parliamentary candidate for boreholes. The youth promised to fully support the parliamentary candidate.
The constituency chairman, Asumbere Karim Akolgo advised the youth not to repeat the same mistake of voting against the NPP come December 2024 .
